Ritika Anand Bollywood Debut (अनिल बेदाग) : अभय देओल, पंकज कपूर और पीयूष मिश्रा के अभिनय से सजी वेब सीरीज “जेएल 50” से अभिनेत्री रितिका आनंद ने बॉलीवुड में जबर्दस्त डेब्यू किया है। रितिका आनंद इसमें मुख्य भूमिका में हैं, जो सोनी लिव पर स्ट्रीम हो रही है और हर ओर उनके अभिनय की गूंज सुनाई दे रही है। जेएल 50 टाइम ट्रैवेल पर आधारित भारत की पहली साइंस फिक्शन फ़िल्म है, जिसमे अभिनेत्री, मॉडल, फिल्म निर्मात्री, लेखिका और स्पीकर रितिका आनंद ने 35 साल पहले दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुई उड़ान की पायलट की चुनौती भरी भूमिका निभाई है।
रोचक तथ्य यह है कि जब इसे बनाने की शुरुआत हुई थी तो इसे एक फिल्म के रूप में प्लान किया गया था, लेकिन कोविड काल की सीमाओं के कारण इसे वेब सीरीज़ में बदल दिया गया। रितिका आनंद ने JL 50 में पायलट की वर्दी में अपना जौहर दिखाकर सबको आश्चर्यचकित कर दिया है।
यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ कैलगरी, कनाडा से ड्रामा में डिप्लोमा और उसके बाद द एशियन एकेडमी ऑफ़ फ़िल्म एंड टेलीविज़न, नोएडा से फ़िल्म एक्टिंग में डिप्लोमा करने वाली रितिका बहुमुखी प्रतिभा की धनी हैं। थिएटर से अपने अभिनय करियर की शुरुआत करने वाली रितिका भरत नाट्यम और कथक जैसे डांस फॉर्म्स को सीखी हुई हैं।
मुख्य अभिनेत्री के रूप में उनकी आने वाली फ़िल्में ट्रिलॉजी फ़िल्म सीरीज़ और द लास्ट पीक हैं। ट्रिलॉजी एक ऐतिहासिक काल्पनिक थ्रिलर फ़िल्म है। आरआरआर, बाहुबली और बजरंगी भाईजान के लेखक वी विजयेंद्र प्रसाद ने इसे लिखा है। वहीं लेखक निर्देशक शैलेंद्र व्यास की द लास्ट पीक एक साइंस फिक्शन है, जिस में रितिका एक पर्वतारोही की भूमिका निभा रही हैं।
टीवी से चर्चा में आईं रितिका एक बेहतरीन लेखिका भी हैं और एक ऑडियो बुक ‘बीइंग सेल्फिश – ए ड्रीम चेज़र्स वे होम’ जारी की है जो दूसरों को प्रेरित कर रही है।

“I want to open up to doing variety of roles in exciting and challenging acting projects, when explained in simple words,” says Ritika Anand, an actor, model and film producer. author and a speaker, while in conversation with Paresh B Mehta. Ritika debuted in Bollywood with JL50 which was originally planned as a film, but due to Covid times limitations, it was converted into web series.
Holding a Diploma in Drama from University of Calgary, Canada and followed it with Diploma in Film Acting from The Asian Academy of Film & Television, Noida, Ritika began her acting career with stage dramas (theatre) for a long period and she is a trained classical dancer in Bharat Natyam and Kathak.
JL 50 featuring Abhay Deol, Pankaj Kapoor and Piyush Mishra, with Ritika Anand playing the lead among them streaming on Sony LIV. Her upcoming films as a lead actress are a Trilogy film series and The Last Peak.
“The trilogy is an historical fantasy thriller film that is written by V Vijayendra Prasad (writer of RRR, Bahubali, and Bajrangi Bhaijan) I play the Queen of Raja Pritu Rai’s father. The Last Peak is written and directed by Shailendra Vyas is again a Science fiction and it is about the parallel universe,” revealed Ritika Anand who, as a model, also endorses international brands.
JL 50 is India’s first seriously dealt with Science fiction based on time travel, Ritika Anand plays the pilot of the flight that crashes 35 years ago. She has also come out with an audio book ‘Being selfish – A Dream chaser’s way home’ that is about her journey of transformation that would inspire others.
It was television that brought Ritika into the limelight, “After doing few television shows, I realized that I was not getting the job (inner) satisfaction playing the same character again and again. With the variety lacking, you aren’t satisfied as an actor.” She joined JL 50’s production team and subsequently was offered the role of the pilot.
Ritika Anand was seen in uniform as a pilot in JL 50, in the upcoming trilogy she is playing the fictional character of a Queen and in The Last Peak she is playing a mountain climber. So now what is left to be explored? “I want to try out romantic genre, drama, some powerful corporate executive, a strong headed woman, sort of… something challenging that challenges my mind, acting prowess and that brings out the best in me.”
